Just saying Hello

My name is Ines. I am half Belgian half Portuguese and I have been living in the UK for a few years now.

I am passionate about people, travelling and eating. I am bubbly and full of energy and I am sometimes perceived as ‘cute’, but I have a pretty darn dark sense of humour. So bubbly and dark. I am quirky that way.

I am always daydreaming, but I never had A dream to follow, one passion to pursue. Despite all the bubbliness, I always felt anxious for not knowing what I want to do, what my passion is. For not having that one big dream to follow. Although I never had a specific dream, I dreamt a lot; my head was (and is) always in the clouds – most of time it’s just silly stuff.

Dreaminess means ‘given to daydreams or reverie’. But it can also mean ‘Informal Inspiring delight’ or ‘wonderful’. And that’s precisely what this blog is about. DreamInes is about inspiring and being inspired. To make the most of life. To being happy. Most of all it’s about the journey. It’s about finding good things, things that make us happy – dreamy food, dreamy travel, dreamy people (etc.) – meeting inspiring people and telling stories.

I warn you though, there will also be nightmare stories because after all, there’s no light without dark, and no journey would ever be fun without it’s bumps.

Hopefully it’s the beginning of something good, and will bring you happiness as well. So stick around.

It’s nice to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same old rehashed information. Great read!
